CanMods® The Architect — 20” × 15.5” Architectural Recessed Light Cover

The Architect is the flagship CanMods® recessed light cover — a large-format architectural statement designed to transform an ordinary ceiling can light into something worth looking at.

At approximately 20” × 15.5”, The Architect expands our signature Prairie-inspired rectangular design with longer floating rails and paired architectural tabs. The layered construction creates depth, shadow and a distinctive halo of reflected light across the ceiling.

Designed and handcrafted in Michigan from real wood, each Architect installs over an existing recessed light with no electrical modification required.

The interchangeable center panel system allows the character of the fixture to change with your room — from a clean white diffuser to decorative art, vinyl or specialty panels.
